Snowboarding in Spain? You're mad! Believe it or not, Madrid has a couple of ski slopes within an hour's drive. Whilst they are not the French Alps, they are good enough to have a great day out during your sports team tour in Madrid. Valdesqui has 20km of runs with 15 ski lifts including 6 chair lifts and 5 T-bars. The views from the resort are spectacular.

Valdesqui is normally open from early December until the end of April. If you are a serious snowboarder you won't be disappointed with this mountain - it has plenty of wide open spaces, jumps and chutes. Contact us to find out if it will be open during your sports team tour. We suggest that if you are coming for a sports weekend tour that you arrange this activity for either the Friday or Monday (if possible) as the weekend is extremely busy. All you need to bring is warm clothing, ski jacket and trousers, hat, gloves, goggles or sunglasses, sun cream and a change of clothes. We suggest that you bring ski clothing with you although you may be able to hire it locally. Snowboarding during your sports team tour is a great opportunity to work on those turns in the Spanish sunshine and fresh mountain air and have a fun-filled day with your team mates.
