White water rafting is by far the most exhilirating way to experience a ferocious river. You might think that your days are numbered as you cruise down some of these dramatic rapids. We take you to a National Park 125km from Madrid which has an 80km river with a gorge running through it.

Note:
- The rafts are 4 metres by 1.6 metres in size and can carry up to 1000kg, and can hold 9-10 people seated.
- You don't need previous experience or great strength, only the ability to swim.

How long does it take?
After your journey from Madrid to the rafting site, you will then have a 90 minute journey to the river. You will be given all your gear and be rafting by 11am. Around 1pm, you will have lunch beside the river and then continue rafting in the afternoon. You should be back at your hotel by 8.30pm at the latest.

The minimum group number required is 4 but no maximum. All you need to bring are swimming gear, hat, trainers or sandals, sunglasses with attachment, disposable or waterproof camera, sun cream, and a change of clothes.
