No visitor can leave Madrid without seeing the Las Ventas Bull ring – built in 1929 and very much considered to be the Mecca of Bullfighting. Our Museum tour ( not available on fight afternoons) allows a unique insight into the world of the bullfighting and some of its famous personalities that have been lauded over the years including a viewing of the “suit of lights” that the legendary Manolete wore the day he died after being gored by an equally legendary bull Islero in 1947. Heads of famous bulls, paintings, and sculptures, are also on display. Tour includes entrance, English speaking guide and lasts for around an hour.
